Rayjon Tucker wanted to do his own research.
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock men's basketball program recently had entered a full-scale reboot by hiring Darrell Walker in March, and the first phase was cleaning house.
"It was nerve-wracking," Tucker, a junior, said. "You didn't know who he was going to keep or who he was going to let go or how he was going to be as a coach."
Six players from UALR's 7-25 season in 2017-2018 were retained. Tucker, UALR's leading scorer this season at 20 points per game, was one of them.
