BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock track and field was recognized by the Ohio Valley Conference Wednesday as Troy McKnight was named the league's Male Track Athlete of the Week while Gabby Ayiteyfio received Co-Field Athlete of the Week honors.
Claiming his third and fourth gold medals of the season, McKnight won both the 100m and 200m dashes at the Little Rock Invitational by becoming the first OVC sprinter since Eastern Illinois' Zye Boey to run a sub-10.4 time in the 100m and sub-21.0 time in the 200m in the same season, let alone the same day.
