Coming off a 2024 Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship, the Arkansas-Little Rock baseball team looks to defend its title and reach even greater heights this season.
The Trojans open the 2025 campaign Friday at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock with a doubleheader that begins a three-game series against Evansville of the Missouri Valley Conference.
UALR was voted to finish second in the OVC with Southeast Missouri State selected as the favorite in the league's preseason poll. The Redhawks received 13 first-place votes in the poll, while the Trojans picked up five.
While UALR claimed the regular season crown last season, Southeast Missouri State won the OVC Tournament and earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
