NATCHITOCHES, La. – Little Rock was unable to overcome an early deficit and ultimately fell to Northwestern State by a score of 4-9 on Friday night at Brown-Stroud Field. The loss drops the Trojans record to 9-6 on the season, game two of the series will be Saturday with a 2 p.m. first pitch.
The Demons were able to get on top early with a leadoff homerun and would go on to add an additional run in the frame before Little Rock was able to get off of the field. NSU would continue to pull ahead, doubling their lead in the bottom of the second with another two runs, going up 4-0 heading into the third.
