LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans held on to win a tightly contested match as Jaclyn Purvine scored yet again to provide the game-winning goal. This win gives Little Rock a 5-2-1 record at the end of their nonconference schedule.
The game-winning moment came in the 56th minute when the Trojans won a free kick in a dangerous area. Morgan Smocovich was chosen to launch the ball into the box. Doro Greulich was the one on the end of the Smocovich pass, she then found Purvine in the box and she wasted no time to put the ball into the back of the net to give the Trojans a 1-0 advantage.
