LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock dropped an 8-4 decision to North Alabama Friday afternoon in the opening game of a weekend series at Gary Hogan Field. A four-run fifth and a two-run ninth by the Lions put North Alabama proved too much for Little Rock to overcome as the Trojans fall to 6-5 on the season.
North Alabama struck first with a run with one out in the second, but a pair of strikeouts from starter limited the damage. The Trojans were then able to even things up in the bottom of the fourth off a solo home run, his third of the season.
