JONESBORO, Ark. – Propelled by Taylor Lindberg's third triple-double and a team-high 15 kills from Veronica Marin, the Little Rock Trojans downed the Arkansas State Red Wolves in five sets. It was the first Trojan win against the Red Wolves since 2014, which was also a victory celebrated in Jonesboro, and Little Rock's team is now 14-8 overall, 6-3 in Sun Belt Conference play.
Arkansas State scored the first point of the match, but Little Rock went on an early run to distance themselves 7-4. Later in the set, Little Rock pulled away again, this time notching six straight points to make it 19-8 before the Red Wolves tallied a similar run.
