LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock utilized a 17-rebound advantage including a career-high 14 rebounds by as the Trojans topped Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 73-63, Tuesday night at the Jack Stephens Center.
The Trojans (2-1) shot 40% or better for the third straight game this season and held a 41-28 halftime lead but it was the 48 rebounds that highlighted Little Rock's first meeting against UAPB since 2005. Francis' 14 rebounds led all players while added 10 boards.
"We won that game because of our rebounding," Little Rock Head Coach said after the game.
once again led the offensive effort for Little Rock, scoring 24 points while also bringing down six offensive rebounds and swiping four steals.
