Little Rock was led by graduate Sug Williams with 18 points and four rebounds. Jordan Holman followed with her double-double effort of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The Trojans (14-16) came out hot in the first quarter, going on a 6-0 run in the first two minutes. USI's Meredith Raley drained a three, cutting the lead in half.
The Screaming Eagles (22-11) took their first lead with 5:37 remaining in the quarter after a turnover by Williams turned into a made layup by Raley.
