Arkansas State University (18-8, 6-1 Sun Belt Conference) scored all four runs on home runs Friday as the Red Wolves beat No. 14 Coastal Carolina (19-7-1, 6-1) at Springs Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C.
The Chanticleers got an RBI single from Kyle Skeels in the second inning to take an early lead before the Red Wolves took control of the game in the third. Drew Tipton hit a leadoff single and stole second base before Eli Davis struck out looking on a 2-2 pitch and Alex Howard was hit by a pitch.
