WEST POINT, Mississippi — The Little Rock Men's Golf team settled in Monday after a tough opening round to improve by seven strokes in Round 2 on the first day of the Mossy Oak Collegiate. The Trojans are 14th in the team standings but just seven strokes out of the Top 10 heading into Tuesday's final round.

Little Rock fired a first round 297 (9-over) but improved in the second round for a 290 (2-over) and sit at 11-over (587). Second-ranked Auburn (35-under) holds a huge lead over Cincinnati (12-under) and fifth-ranked Ole Miss (11-under) after Day One.
