WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Jansen Smith and Matteo Cristoni both carded 5-under 67s on the opening day of the Purdue Fall Invitational and are among the individual top-10 as Little Rock sits fourth among the 15-team field. The Trojans posted a 4-over 580 over the opening 36 holes, including a 2-under 286 in round two.
2022 Purdue Fall Invitational Day One Results
Little Rock opened the day in western Indiana with a 6-over 294 in round one, sitting sixth among the field after 18 holes. Cristoni paced the Trojans in round one with a 5-under 67, his fifth round in the 60s this season, but was the lone Little Rock golfer to finish under par as Smith added a 2-over 74 and Anton Albers shot a 4-over 76.
