UALR's game against Tulsa wasn't considered a sure thing, but considering what the Trojasn have been through at times this season, it presented some measure of relief.
A week after taking then-No. 6 Texas to the wire, and two weeks after putting a scare for three quarters into then-No. 21 Oklahoma, Tulsa visited the Jack Stephens Center with a losing record and as one of four of UALR's nine non conference opponents that hadn't reached the NCAA Tournament last year.
But UALR, lethargic at the start, struggled to find its bearings on defense and control possessions on offense in a 74-63 loss in front of announced crowd of 1,087.
