LITTLE ROCK – After a stellar season on the court, Little Rock volleyball's Edina Selimovic was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Division I Southwest All-Region Team, the AVCA announced Tuesday morning.
Offensively, Selimovic tallied 3.14 kills per set and a .317 hitting percentage, ranking fifth in the Sun Belt. On defense, Selimovic tallied 1.14 blocks per set for the season, 92nd in the nation and third in the Sun Belt Conference. Her 0.34 aces per set for the year ranked 90th in the nation and third in the Sun Belt.
This season, Selimovic earned a spot on the All-Sun Belt First Team for the second straight year, a spot on the Sun Belt's All-Tournament Team, two Sun Belt Offensive-Student Athlete of the Week awards and was picked to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Team.
