EVANSVILLE, IND. -- One night after pulling out a win over Tennessee-Martin, UALR's men ran out of gas and fell to top-seeded Southeast Missouri State 78-59 on Friday night in the semifinals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament at the Ford Center.
Rob Martin scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting to lead Southeast Missouri State (21-11). Trey Cole Jr. scored 12 of his 17 points in the first half as the Redhawks put up 40 points in the first 20 minutes. TJ Biel made all four of his field-goal attempts and had 13 points.
UALR (19-14) made 11 three-pointers Thursday night against Tennessee-Martin, but were held to 2-of-12 shooting from behind the arc Friday.
