LITTLE ROCK – Former Trojan and seventh-round draft pick Ryan Scott has been named a 2016 ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-American, the organization announced Saturday afternoon.
Scott now has four All-American honors this postseason, the most by any Little Rock player in program history. Prior to today, Scott was named a Louisville Slugger First Team All-American, a D1Baseball Third Team All-American and a College Sports Madness Third Team All-American.
Scott's astounding 2016 season was one for the record books at Little Rock. He broke Little Rock's single-season records for hits (94), RBIs (66), total bases (154) and batting average (.
