LITTLE ROCK – The awards continue to amount for Little Rock baseball's Ryan Scott as he earned a spot on the 2016 South Central-ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team on Wednesday afternoon.
Scott, a seventh-round draft pick by the Boston Red Sox, becomes the 10th player in Little Rock's history to be named to an ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team, and he is the fourth Trojan to be named to the All-Region First Team. The last Little Rock student-athletes to earn ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team honors were Sean Bignall and Blake Johnson in 2012.
In addition to his latest honor, Scott was named a finalist for the 2016 Gregg Olson Award on Monday.
