BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – After leading the Ohio Valley Conference in both scoring and steals, Little Rock forward Sali Kourouma has been named the OVC's Co-Player of the Week following the final week of play in the regular season.
Kourouma averaged 23.5 points and 5.5 steals over two games last week while shooting 47.7% from the field. Scoring 47 points overall, she was the only player in the OVC to record multiple 20-point scoring games and led Little Rock to an outright conference championship in just its first year in the league.
