FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A four-run first inning by second-ranked Arkansas put Little Rock in a hole it couldn't climb out of, falling to the Razorbacks 10-3 Wednesday afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Little Rock and Arkansas were even on the scoreboard in hits with eight apiece, but four of the Razorbacks' hits were for extra bases (three home runs and a triple), while just one of the Trojans went beyond first.
The Trojans were led by a 2-for-3 day for Nathan Lyons, who belted a home run in the seventh and drew a walk while making a handful of key defensive stops at third.
