COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Little Rock junior Zach McPhee posted a top-30 finish – the best for a men's runner since 2017 – as the Trojans competed at the 2022 NCAA South Central Regional Championships Friday morning.
McPhee clocked 31:45.6 in the 10K race to finish 30th overall among the field of 175 runners, leading Little Rock to a 21st place finish. This marks the fourth time this season (out of seven meets) the newcomer has led Little Rock in a meet.
On the women's side, Matilda Horton led the Trojans for the sixth consecutive meet as her 6K time of 22:29.
