NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Little Rock sophomore Matteo Cristoni has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Golfer of the Month for September, announced by the league office.
Cristoni competed in a pair of events for the Trojans, posting a 69.50 scoring average with a pair of top-four individual finishes. Cristoni opened his Little Rock career at the Olympic Club Intercollegiate, tying for third with a 4-under 209. He followed that up tying for third at the Windon Memorial Classic, shooting a 2-under 208.
The Modena, Italy native shot par-or-better in four of his six rounds in the month of September, including a 6-under 65 in round two in San Francisco and a 3-under 67 in round two in Chicago.
