Little Rock – Senior Veronica Marin and junior Carol Barbosa represented Little Rock in the Sun Belt's announcement of the 2018 Sun Belt Volleyball Postseason Awards. Marin was named as Player of the Year along with being named First-Team All-Conference and Barbosa was elected Second-Team All-Conference.
Marin joins Barbara Gomzez (1997), Tanja Radovic (2000) and Edina Begic (2012) as the only Trojans to win the Player of the Year award and Little Rock has now had a first-team selection in 23 of the last 25 seasons. Barbosa is the 17th player coached by Van Compton to make second-team.
