LR Falls at Appalachian State to Close Regular Season

Box Score BOONE, N.C. – Little Rock closed its regular season with a 69-63 loss to Appalachian State (8-22, 6-13 SBC) on Thursday at Holmes Convocation Center. The Trojans, who captured their first-ever outright Sun Belt Championship, finish the regular season with a record of 27-4 overall and 17-3 in Sun Belt play – both program records.

Little Rock, who trailed for 23 of the game's 40 minutes, looked as if it would pull away with just under seven minutes to play. The Trojans took a four-point lead thanks to a 7-0 run that put the team up 50-46 with 6:53 remaining.
