ARLINGTON, Texas- Little Rock's win streak was snapped at six games after UT Arlington defeated the Trojans 11-1 in the series finale Sunday afternoon.
The Mavericks bats caught fire in the contest, notching 12 hits on the day.
Jose Torres was charged with the loss after allowing four runs in one and 1/3 innings pitched. Nick Perez led the Trojan offense with a 2-for-3 day at the plate.
It was the Mavericks who struck first in the third game of the series, as the hosts put up five runs in the bottom of the second to take a commanding 5-0 lead
UT Arlington rallied for three more in the third to push their lead to 8-0.
