Little Rock’s Fourth Quarter Lockdown Stops Memphis, 55-50

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – coached teams are known for their stifling defense. As the final seconds ticked off the scoreboard at the Jack Stephens Center Thursday evening, Memphis was left gasping for air.

Little Rock (3-1) held Memphis (2-1) without a field goal for the final six minutes of the game and closed things out on a 10-1 run as the host Trojans pulled out the 55-50 win.

It didn't come without drama. Memphis led by as much as six in the final quarter before the Trojans began to chip away at the lead. second-chance jumper in the paint tied the game with 2:54 left as part of her 32-point night that went along with 10 rebounds as she recorded her first career double-double.
