LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The women's basketball season won't officially start until November but Little Rock is already embarking on its first road trip of the season. The Trojans left for a week-long trip to Costa Rica that will include team building activities, community service projects and three games against international competition.
Saturday's departure takes Little Rock's Team to Central America and the nation's capital city of San José. The team will play exhibition games on August 11, 12 and 13 after a team practice on August 10.
"A foreign trip for any team, men's or women's, is a great way to gain experience, especially with a lot of young players," Little Rock Head Coach Joe Foley said.
