EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Daedrianna Cail recorded a career-high nine total blocks, a personal best three aces and hit a team-leading .208 but Little Rock was unable to sustain momentum in a 3-1 loss at SIUE Friday evening.
The Trojans registered an opening set win but found their first Ohio Valley Conference win to be elusive, dropping the four-set match with set scores of 18-25, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-18.
Little Rock (3-15, 0-5 OVC) hit just .036 in the match but registered 11 blocks. More importantly, a week after struggling to record an ace the Trojans rebounded and served up six aces in the match.
