CONWAY, Ark. – Jaelyn Tucker and Ryan Curington each claimed a gold medal in their respective long jump competitions as action got underway at the Richard Martin Jr Invitational Friday afternoon in Conway.
Tucker jumped 17-7 (5.36m) to win the women's long jump while Bria Allen followed in second, jumping 17-3.5 (5.27m). Meanwhile on the men's side, Ryan Curington jumped 22-8.5 (6.92m) to win the men's competition.
In the men's hammer throw, Isaiah Parker registered a mark of 155-5 (47.37m) to place second while Casey Griffin placed fifth with a throw of 131-3 (40.
