Little Rock Stumbles in Atlanta in Sun Belt Regular Season Finale

ATLANTA – An extended Georgia State run did in a shorthanded Little Rock team as the Trojans fell to the Panthers 89-70 in the regular season finale at GSU Sport Arena. Little Rock closes the regular season at 21-10 overall and 15-5 in Sun Belt play.

Holding a 58-56 lead with 14:23 remaining, Little Rock watched Georgia State rattle off a 20-1 run over the ensuing six minutes to put the game out of reach.

Game Notes

• In a game that held no significance for the Trojans as far as the Sun Belt tournament was concerned, Little Rock played shorthanded as Jaizec Lottie did not play and Markquis Nowell was limited to just seven minutes, both of which were dealing with injury issues.
