Little Rock Stumbles at ULM, Streak Comes to and End

MONROE, La. – and both reached double figures but Little Rock was out-shot and out-rebounded in a 62-44 loss at ULM Monday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

The loss snaps the Trojans' five-game win streak and a 19-game streak over ULM. Little Rock (13-8, 9-5 Sun Belt) had not previously lost at ULM since March 8, 2014.

Battle's 14 points and Vornes' 11 points weren't nearly enough for the Trojans as ULM (3-17, 1-13) out-paced Little Rock in the second quarter by an 18-5 advantage and never relinquished the lead. The Trojans hit just one field goal in that quarter and one in the fourth, relying on free throws for the rest of the scoring.
