CIUDAD DE JUANA DIAZ, Puerto Rico – Setter Valencia Dariana, a Little Rock signee, registered 13 assists and nine digs while leading her native Puerto Rico to a 3-0 straight set win over Canada in the first group stage match of the U-19 Pan American Cup.
In front of a home crowd of over 500 spectators at Coiseo Dolores Martinez, Dariana played the entire match as the Puerto Rican setter and guided her team to a thrilling 25-20, 25-17 and 25-21 win over Canada.
This marks the fourth time Dariana has registered double-digit assists in a U19 Pan American Cup match after competing for Puerto Rico at the 2022 Pan American Cup.
