BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Little Rock scored points in the women's distance medley relay (DMR) while four men runners advanced to Tuesday's finals as action began in the 2020 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex Monday.
The DMR quartet of Jordan Edwards, Ka'Neisha Jackson, Ariana Garcia and Vianney Sanchez ran 12:32.10 to finish seventh and score two points for the Trojans. The women ended the first day tied with Louisiana in 10th place.
Meanwhile four Trojan men earned the right to compete in Tuesday's finals races and potentially score points for Little Rock.
