LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock is one of 13 schools nationally selected to receive a NCAA Accelerating Academic Success Program (AASP) single-year initiative grant for the 2021-22 academic year, announced today by the NCAA.
The department has been awarded $100,000 to assist with the program's initiative to enhance the Greg and Marilyn Brown Academic Center. The funds will be used to renovate the center as well as provide technological and software enhancements for Trojan student-athletes, including more work stations and updated computers.
Additionally, the department will add a graduate assistant position to assist in creating programming aimed at providing support for Little Rock student-athletes to become better prepared for life after graduation.
