MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Trojan men's track and field team had two event victories, two second-place finishes and nine top-five finishes at the Memphis Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Little Rock earned its first win of the weekend in the first event on Saturday. The 4x100 relay team finished the race in 41.16 seconds, beating second-place Arkansas State by .55 seconds.
McGruder later took third in the 100-meter dash, racing to a time of 10.44 seconds. Kendrick Dunn finished 10th in 10.78 seconds, setting a new personal best. Ch'kilas Calhoun was 12th in 10.82 seconds, Tre' James was 24th in 11.
