FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Breya Clark smashed a 26-year old school record in the triple jump record and was one of three Trojan jumpers to post a top-five finish as Little Rock competed at the Arkansas Invitational Friday afternoon in Fayetteville.
Clark broke the school record in the triple jump by over 2.5 feet, jumping 39-10.5 (12.15m) as she placed third in the event. Her mark broke the record that was previously set by Carmen Macon in 1996, several years before Clark was born. Macon originally set the record with a jump of 37-0.
