SAN MARCOS, Texas – Little Rock won a set over a ranked opponent for the first time since 2014 and for the second time this season had four players reach double-digit kills. The Trojans even forced extra points in two sets in what is becoming a recurring theme. But the upset bid against No. 15 Texas State (13-1, 8-0 Sun Belt) would slip through Little Rock's fingers in a 3-1 decision at Strahan Arena Friday evening.
Set scores were 27-25, 25-20, 21-25 and 28-26 as the Trojans (1-10, 1-9) forced extra points in a set for the 10 and 11 time this season.
