Little Rock Competes in Border Olympics Starting Friday

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock heads to Texas to compete in the Houston-hosted Border Olympics starting Friday. The event will be played at Laredo Country Club.

The tournament starts with 36 holes on Friday before the final round of 18 on Saturday.

In addition to Little Rock and Houston, the field includes UTEP, Campbell, McNeese, ULM, Rice, Lamar, Sacramento State, Sam Houston State, Louisiana, UTSA, Nebraska, Stephen F. Austin, Bowling Green, Houston Baptist, Oral Roberts and Texas State.

In their lone event of the spring season, Little Rock tied for seventh at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
