FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Little Rock's Laura Jansen and Alyssa Nayar were named to the Arkansas Classic All-Tournament Team Sunday, with Jansen claiming Most Valuable Player honors, after the duo led the Trojans to a tournament title and upset win over the host Razorbacks.
Jansen finished the weekend with 41 kills, averaging 3.73 kills per set, with seven blocks and two service aces to her credit. She also tallied 26 digs, averaging 2.36 per set over the weekend, scoring 47.0 points in total.
Nayar set up 119 assists, averaging 10.82 per set, including a career-high 57 assists in the thrilling win over Arkansas.
