BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Another school record came crashing down as Little Rock wrapped up its final Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship Tuesday at the CrossPlex in Birmingham.
Jordan Wallace recorded a mark of 49-6.5 (15.10m), beating Desmond Gulley's record of 49-4.5 (15.04m) set in 2015, as he finished third in the triple jump. It marked the second school record broken at this year's championship meet and the second bronze medal claimed by a Trojan athlete.
Wallace not only scored in the jumps but also in the relays, running the third leg of the 4x400m relay that finished seventh.
