FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Little Rock's action wrapped up at the NCAA West Preliminary Track and Field Championships Friday evening with Johnathan Jones and the 4x100m relay leading the way for the Trojans at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville.
Jones, a native of Little Rock, cleared 6-10.75 (2.10m) to tie for 23rd in the high jump. That marked a big improvement in postseason action for the sophomore after finishing tied for 36th in his freshman campaign last year, clearing 6-9 (2.06m).
The men's 4x100m relay team, comprised of two alternates due to injuries, ran 40.
