MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Little Rock's Gabrielle Spankus was recognized Sunday as the true freshman was named to the Bluff City Showdown All-Tournament Team following her performance over the weekend in Memphis.
Spankus led the Trojans with 57 assists – averaging 5.70 per set – and totaled 20 digs, eight kills, five blocks and a service ace. Her .129 hitting percentage was among the best on the team as the multi-faceted player recorded the fewest number of hitting errors for any Trojan with over 30 attempts.
