NASHVILLE – A pair of freshmen – Ethan Sorrels and Barry Richards – both posted the second-best marks in school history in their respective events as action wrapped up on the final day of the Vanderbilt Invitational Saturday in Nashville.
Sorrels started the day by scoring 4,949 points in the heptathlon – the second-most in school history – as he finished as the top collegian and second overall.
Later in the day, Richards ran a blazing fast 8.32 in the 60m hurdles to finish ninth overall. That mark ranks No.
