Little Rock senior Matthew Fox will compete in the heptathlon this weekend, looking to secure a shot at the NCAA Nationals with a high mark during the Fighting Illini Challenge at the UI Armory in Champaign, Illinois. Fox will be the lone indoor track athlete competing for the Trojans during the two-day meet.
According to J.P. Behnke, Little Rock Director of Track and Field, the Ontario, Canada native will be aiming for a score of 5800, the estimated mark for earning one of the Top 16 spots in the qualifying field at nationals.
