A week after suffering its worst home loss in nearly 30 years, the Arkansas-Little Rock women's basketball team rebounded with an improved defensive effort as the Trojans downed Arkansas State University 59-49 on Tuesday night at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock.
Jordan Holman recorded a double-double in the win, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds on a 7-of-11 shooting from the field. Faith Lee scored nine of her 11 points in the first half as the Trojans built a 12-point halftime lead.
Mesi Triplett scored 12 points off the bench, while Emerald Parker chipped in 10 points and six rebounds.
