LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock Director of Athletics George Lee has announced the promotion of Darius Maize to Deputy Athletic Director for Internal Operations & Special Projects for the Trojan Athletic Department. Maize's promotion will take effect November 1, 2019.
"I want to thank Darius for all his hard work over the past two years," Lee said. "He has been intricately involved in all our internal operations and it is a testimony to his work ethic to be moving into this new role. It is a well-deserved promotion."
Maize has been with the department since July of 2017, serving as an internal operations assistant while pursuing his master's degree in sport administration from Arkansas State.
