BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock freshman Daedrianna Cail was named the Ohio Valley Conference's Newcomer of the Week after being the only player in the 10-member league to hit above .350, serve up more than three aces and register 10 or more blocks.
Over two matches at SIUE, Cail tallied an impressive .378 hitting percentage while averaging 2.33 kills per set, served up five aces and registered 16 total blocks, the second most of any OVC player over the course of last week.
