LITTLE ROCK – New Little Rock baseball catcher Caleb Cox was named an All-American by the National Baseball Congress on Friday after competing in the 83rd NBC World Series this summer.
Over the course of the NBC World Series with the Mulvane Patriots, Cox hit .533 with two doubles and three RBIs. Cox posted the highest slugging percentage of any catcher throughout the 16-day stretch of games.
Cox comes to Little Rock from Butler Community College where he hit .335 with 10 home runs, 42 RBIs, 39 runs, 15 doubles, a .600 slugging percentage and a .
