LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After helping the Little Rock Baseball team to a recent eight-game win streak that included a win at nationally-ranked Ole Miss, junior Cooper Chaplain was recognized by the Ohio Valley Conference as its Player of the Week with a blistering performance over the last four games.

Chaplain – a native of Jackson, Mississippi – hit .500 (9-for-18) last week during four contests, scoring six runs and hitting three home runs with 10 RBI. He compiled a .550 on-base percentage and slugged 1.000 as the Trojans knocked off No. 11 Ole Miss and won two of three against Western Illinois.
