PITTSBURG, Kan. – Spencer Cardinal and Breya Clark both posted third-place finishes in their respective events as Little Rock faced a late January challenge at the Wendy's Pittsburg State Invitational Saturday.
Cardinal ran the 10th-fastest time in school history in the 5K as he ran 14:59.94 to finish fourth in the race while Joel Allen ran 15:53.84, placing 23rd.
Meanwhile Clark claimed the second-best long jump mark in school history as she leaped 18-5.5 (5.65m) to finish sixth overall. Bria Allen also posted a personal-mark, jumping 18-0.
