LITTLE ROCK – Freshman Asmalia Redzuan has been chosen as the Missouri Valley Conference's Swimmer of the Week after her multiple strong performances during last weekend's home dual against Incarnate Word. This marks the team's first Swimmer of the Week honor since 2016, and Redzuan is also the fourth freshman in program history to earn the recognition.
Redzuan posted two personal best times in her individual events, the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. Her time of 1:56.59 in the 200 free was nearly a second faster than her previous best and ranks her 15th in the MVC.
